London, United Kingdom, 30 June 2025: TradeHeader, the financial data standards integration and software consultancy, is delighted to announce that Georgina Tarrés, a Consultant at the company, has been awarded the Fintech Open Source Foundation (FINOS) ‘Champion Award’ at the 2025 FINOS EMEA/APAC Community Awards.
Georgina’s work is being recognised with the award for outstanding contributions to the Common Domain Model (CDM), and the development of the Linux Foundation’s CDM Introductory training course. Since the publication of the CDM introductory training by the Linux Foundation last year, more than a thousand people have taken the course.
TradeHeader is unique in its approach to the Common Domain Model (CDM) and the International Swaps & Derivatives Association’s (ISDA) Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR).
Its consultants are the definitive voice on CDM because TradeHeader is a co-creator of both CDM and DRR. This deeply embedded knowledge puts TradeHeader in an unparalleled position to expedite client implementation projects and train internal client teams, delivering tangible results without clients needing to divert precious resources.
Georgina Tarrés, Consultant at TradeHeader, said: “I’m really happy and honoured to receive the FINOS Champion award. Working on the Common Domain Model has been a team effort, and I’m proud to help develop an open standard that’s changing the way our industry handles data, interoperability, and regulatory reporting. This award is not just for me — it shows the great work done by my amazing team and the whole community that wants to make the financial system more transparent and efficient."
Marc Gratacos, Founder and Managing Partner of TradeHeader, said: “We are absolutely thrilled for Georgina and congratulate her for this remarkable and well-deserved achievement, from a prestigious organisation such as FINOS. She works tirelessly with our team to push the boundaries of CDM’s capabilities and help to educate in-house teams in the smooth implementation and optimisation of this important model.”
He added: “For many organisations, the benefits of CDM can only be realised efficiently with the specific expertise and experience of experts like Georgina and many lack the necessary internal resources. This is why our training of internal teams is another important way that we support clients alongside our tailored CDM and DRR implementation work.”
